*21 weeks 2 days*

How many weeks? I am 21 weeks this week. So now I am past the half way point!

How big is baby? Baby weighs about three quarters of a pound and is around 10 and a half inches long. Length wise that is a banana or a carrot.

How are you feeling today? I am feeling good. I am getting back into an exhausted stage though.
New Symptoms? I have been getting really nauseous again. Thank god for preggy pops they actually work for me. Back aches are here though! Not all the time but if I have been lounging on the couch for a bit when I get up my lower back and pelvis hurt.

Milestones? I fell more movement every day!

Appointments?I had my appointment last Monday and baby was hiding again. It took a minute to hear his heart beat. The whole time I was preparing myself for the worst. Sick huh? Then I was told since I am doing so well I won't get a monthly sonogram anymore. My next one will be in a few months. I am not happy about that and it's weighing heavily on me.

Positive thing about this pregnancy? This baby has helped put some life back in to me.

Baby names? Still the same. My name I have always loved is Ezra for a boy. I have gotten some weird looks when saying I like that name though.
Purchases? So far animal plates, a stuffed lamb, duckie pjs, a box of diapers and baby wash. I obviously have a ton of brand new stuff already. Now to add on to that I got two outfits from Carter's, a night time baby wash, and some wall decorations for the baby's room. (Sorry if you find this part boring it's kind of helping me keep track) For this week we got some garment bags to wash babies clothes, a boppy pillow with two covers, some socks, and an outfit from Carter's. This week I bought three more outfits, a pair of pjs, a Carter's Giraffe and a carter's monkey that holds the pacifier.

  1. Glad everything continues to look positive. Perhaps try asking your doctor to conintue the monthly scans though - just because you don't need them, odesn't mean they aren't useful reassurance. Pregnancy after bereavement is a whole new ball game!
