Blakey Is 5 Months Old

I can not believe how fast my baby is growing! I know he is only 5 months old but it is amazing how much bigger he is now then when he was born. He is around 14 lbs and 26". So he is skinny for his age but tall. He eats solids now (baby food). So far everything he has tried he likes. His favorites are apples, bananas, peaches and sweet potatoes. He wasn't too sure about carrots at first but is now eating them better. Feeding him is a riot because he cries if you don't just keep shoveling the food in. He also puts his hands in his mouth and wipes the food all over his head, chair, clothes, you name it. He has been rolling over for about a month now and boy does he do it fast. He also tries to crawl and can almost sit up with no support. It often looks like he is doing baby exercises because if you lay him on the ground he lifts his head and feet trying to get up. He just wants to go, go, go. Mommy wants him to slow, slow, slow down! His personality is awesome. Always smiling, cooing, rubbing your face, snuggling, just so loveable! I swear he knows what I am thinking sometimes. If I am having a bad day or missing Gavin so bad he will shoot me the biggest smile. In that moment I feel like Gavin is sending me that love.
